No Web Site is too small or too big. It's all about purpose and branding. After researching target users of your site and your business goals, the next step in Web Design is to determine what the site can do to achieve those goals. A wide variety of goals exist:

The Plan
To begin, we'll outline the site's purposes, features and strategic goals in detail. We will then describe your site in terms of pages to include homepage, content areas, personalized features and related links. These will include Contact Us and About Us pages with the Homepage and the About Us page stressing what makes you better than the competition while the Contact Us page will always include a click to e-mail. A preliminary sketch of pages and navigation will be presented for review and comment.
The Design
We start with logos and a color palette in this stage. If these already exist for print materials we suggest that you continue with them to strengthen brand identity. If they don't exist or require updating, then they will be designed and again, we suggest that the logo and color palette cross over to to print materials. Consistency is key in having consumers easily recognize and identify with your business and products. The basic look of the site will be created for review and comment.
The Pages
All the materials and information required to complete pages will be collected and/or created: Photographs, graphics, introductory and explanatory text. Shur Communications can provide some or all of these, photographing people and/or products and writing all copy. However, you can save time and money by providing as much as possible up front.
Shur Communications will edit all text to maximize use of key words to put your site high on search engine ranks.
Domain Name
Shur Communications will help you determine an effective domain name (www.shurcommunications.com, for example) and search to make sure it is available. We can also help you choose a host, making sure that the company supplies all the services you require at a reasonable price.
Web Site Maintenance & Evaluation
There are as many different Web Sites as there are businesses with sites. Each one requires different and varying degrees of maintenance and review.
Traffic on sites can also be measured and evaluated to continue to increase the number of users who visit your site.
